Chelsea are in danger of becoming the new Arsenal – even if they win the FA Cup

The sight of Olivier Giroud sinking to his knees, staring at the heavens, his face a mixture of anguish and disbelief. It was a picture that would have resonated with Arsenal fans as Chelsea’s remote hopes of Champions League qualification disintegrated at Newcastle last Sunday.
