But that might soon be about to change, as Twitter rolls out its controversial 280-character Tweets to everybody – including the Tweet-happy President.
Up until now a select group of users have been testing the longer Tweets (with, it has to be said, mixed results).
We’re not sure how seriously to take this rumour, as it’s come from unnamed sources talking to Politico, which claims the 280-char Tweets are coming to all users in ‘coming days’.
