A specifically-designed tech camp to equip women entrepreneurs with the skills to run their own ventures is going to happen in Islamabad.
The famous series of boot camps, known as Tech Camp for Women Entrepreneurs, will be held in Islamabad the following week. Tech Camp for Women Entrepreneurs is a 3-Day accelerated program with a focus to impart business running and management skills to women entrepreneurs who are running micro businesses, SMEs or startup ventures of their own.
The boot camp would be specially targeting females who want to accelerate their business in terms of operations and scale them up locally as well as internationally. The notable franchise is a venture made possible through a collaboration between Impact Dynamics, Daastan, and is being powered by the US Department of State. Impact Dynamics is an enterprise that creates and curates curriculum for entrepreneurs and runs workshops centered around tech and soft skills while Daastan is a literary forum whose mission is to revive, revamp, and run the literary industry of developing Pakistan.
The designers of the training have designed the accelerated boot camp having three goals in mind. The boot camp will help women entrepreneurs in improving their existing business operations and expanding to local/national and international markets. The training will also have a strong focus on employing sustainable practices, fostering economic development, and creating employment opportunities for society.
The participation of this accelerated boot camp is free to attend for the selected female entrepreneurs after a comprehensive selection criterion and is scheduled to happen on 18th, 19th and 20th April 2019. The team had just closed accepting the registrations for the upcoming event, a short-listing process is now taking place on a set criterion to nominate the final attendees for the boot camp. The team behind the boot camp had successfully conducted the training in Peshawar back in January this year.
The training sessions will incorporate sessions on Pitching, Growth Hacking, Social Listening, Adobe Photoshop, Social Media Marketing Hacks, Digital Storytelling, The Art of Storytelling, The technicalities of low-budget quality photography, hacks of the visual designs, the usage of Google Tools and Technology and a lot more.
