New leak shows Galaxy S10’s hole-punch display

Less than two months are left for the official launch of Galaxy S10 and leaks are pouring from everywhere, the latest leaks show Galaxy S10’s hole-punch display. This leak is significant because it is the first leak which shows the actual phone, not a render or concept image. It was leaked via the famous and well-known leaker Evan Blass who posted the photo on his Twitter account.

According to him, the image is the Beyond 1 variant, which refers to the second variant of Galaxy S10 and comes between the Lite model and the Plus model. The icons in the image have been blurred out on purpose, while the hole in the top right corner clearly shows the punch-hole display. The picture also shows that there are still some bezels and Samsung was not successful in removing them since it needed some space for one of the top speakers. However, the design is completely changed and seems much more promising than its 2018 counterpart.

There will be a total of three variants for the upcoming Galaxy S10, S10 Lite (Beyond 0), S10 (Beyond 1) and S10 Plus (Beyond 2). While all three phones are expected to share the same major specs, the display design is where the major difference will come.

The S10 Lite version will have a flat display with 5.8-inch display size and a smaller price tag compared to its other two versions. The S10 is expected to have a curved display and 6.1-inch display size while the S10 Plus will feature a dual front camera and a curved display with 6.44-inch display size. There is also some speculation for a special Beyond X model with a 6.7-inch display and is 5G support.

Experts believe that these phones will have a lot more success compared to the S9 models since this is the first redesign since the introduction of S8 back in 2017. The phones are expected to be revealed on February 20th. There are also some rumors which suggest that Samsung’s highly anticipated foldable smartphone will also be launched during this event but this should be taken with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed as of this moment.
