Adele’s Titanic-themed birthday rubs people up the wrong way as it’s branded ‘inappropriate’

Adele’s attitude for turning 30 was go big or go home.

She threw a bash of epic proportions, which showed off her little known obsession for the 1997 movie Titanic, and it came complete with her costume as Rose DeWitt Bukater (AKA Kate Winslet), the famous staircase from the movie, and even life jackets as gifts.

But, while on the face of it this looks like one of the greatest parties of all time (and we’re gutted our invite got lost in the post), which counted her best mate Alan Carr as a guest, for some the theme was a little jarring.
