7 new features of Galaxy Note 9 exposed in a leak

Galaxy Note 8

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could still be at least 3-4 months away from its launch, even if we consider its early launch rumor of July or August. But that didn’t stop the mysterious leaker with a good track record, Ice Universe to leak 7 of the features of upcoming Note series flagship on Chinese social media site Weibo.

The most intriguing features the leaker wrote about are the bits of a new S-Pen, a brand new color, and virtual fingerprint recognition similar to what we have earlier seen in Vivo X20 Plus UD. If Ice Universe is correct, then this means Samsung has been successful with virtual fingerprint recognition on the Galaxy Note 9. If you ask us, we’re hoping that South Korean tech giant debuts the feature on its next flagship for 2018.

Here we have listed the features suggested by tipster;

  1. New S-Pen
  2. Crown UX
  3. Bixby 2.0
  4. Exclusive under-the-display fingerprint recognition
  5. 3850mAh battery with 18W fast charge
  6. A new ‘Teddy Brown’ color
  7. Camera upgrades

The Galaxy Note is Samsung’s productivity powerhouse phone, and we’d expect the Note 9 to have specs to match. What will make the Note 9 special? Samsung said it’s investigating “signature Note features” to upgrade on the Note 9, including the S Pen stylus. However, that statement was made early in the phone’s development, so plans may change by the time the phone reaches store shelves.

That’s all we know about the Galaxy Note 9 at the moment, but we will keep you posted with more rumors, news, and hints about the big-screen Samsung phone.
