Cristiano Ronaldo scored one of the great Champions League goals last night – some may argue the greatest of all.
His bicycle-kick in Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Juventus has met with applause from the home fans in Turin such was its beauty.
It’s also led to an outpouring of praise on social media and from his opponents, including the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Gianluigi Buffon.
Ronaldo’s also had something to say about it as well…
What Ronaldo said: ‘Great goal. What can I say, fantastic. I didn’t expect to score that goal but let’s speak about the game. I think the game was amazing. We scored three goals against Juve – a great team. We played nice and of course I’m happy. I helped the team. I scored two goals. A great night.’
