You might have heard that Amy Schumer had a wedding this week. A quick one.
Amy and chef Chris Fischer, who are thought to have been together since November 2017, exchanged vows in front of the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lawrence and Jake Gyllenhaal.
And whilst the comedian took to Instagram to clarify that no, her surprise nuptials to Chris wasn’t a shotgun wedding, she did have another small reuqest – that all those wanting to give the happy couple gifts donate to Everytown for Gun Safety in light of the Parkland school shooting on 14 February.
‘No I’m not pregnant,’ she started. ‘And no gifts but thank you for asking.
‘Instead please consider a donation to Everytown for gun safety (sic). Thought of Mayce and Jillian a lot yesterday and sending love to everyone who has been affected by gun violence.’
