However, after facing a monumental sh*theap of shade after she went rogue with the US national anthem at the NBA All-Star game over the weekend, Fergie has apologised.
Speaking to TMZ, she addressed her bluesy rendition of the tune which had the audience sniggering on Sunday evening.
‘I’ve always been honoured and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA,’ the former Black Eyed Peas singer said.
‘I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone.’
She added: ‘I love this country and honestly tried my best.’
