Ruth Langsford has praised husband Eamonn Holmes after he was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list for 2018.
The Belfast-born presenter, 58, has been recognised for his services to broadcasting, receiving the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire accolade.
Wife of seven years Ruth, 57, was one of the first to congratulate Eamonn Holmes on his award, taking to Twitter to post a gushing tribute.
She wrote: ‘SO proud of my husband @EamonnHolmes All his years of broadcasting rewarded with an OBE!!! Congratulations darling x’.
