An Everton fan who was filmed hitting a Lyon goalkeeper last night has been banned from attending all Everton games.

The club released a statement today confirming they have identified the fan.
They said: ‘We have identified one individual whom action will now be taken against. This will include a ban from attending future Everton fixtures & club registering a complaint with Merseyside Police’.
The fan, who was holding a baby, during the incident, was filmed attacking Lyon’s players from the stands amid a mass brawl on the pitch.
